T20 World Cup 2024

The Papua New Guinea T20 World Cup team, nicknamed the "Barramundis", is the team that represents the country of Papua New Guinea in international cricket. The team is organized by Cricket PNG, which has been an associate member of the International Cricket Council since 1973. Papua New Guinea previously held one-day international team status, which they achieved after finishing fourth in the 2014 World Cup qualifying match.

Papua New Guinea lost ODI and T20 World Cup status in March 2018 after losing a play-off match against Nepal during a 2018 Cricket World Cup qualifier, resulting in their opponents being given ODI and T20I status. On 26 April 2019, PNG defeated Oman to finish in the top four of the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two and regain ODI status.

The T20 World Cup 2024 tournament is set to begin on June 1 and will be hosted in the United States for the first time along with the West Indies.
